Born and bred in Berlin, Liane moved to London almost a decade ago and has had her fingers in many pies until finding her calling while working as Deputy Editor and writer at digital lifestyle magazine Supersweet.org. In the summer of 2009 she joined MademoiselleRobot.com and MademoiselleStyle.co.uk as PR and Marketing Assistant and guest writer. Her London Fashion Week posts have proven very popular with the readers and inspired her to publish Panda Me Silly.

After blogging ‘just for fun’ since 2006 with changing blogs for everyday themes, photography and lifestyle, Liane has created Panda Me Silly to share her finds from ‘right now’ and her catch up with ‘back then’ with a readership that craves individuality and wants to be in the know. No designer should be overlooked and an urge to know more about fashion is strongly encouraged.

“I have always loved the uncomplicated attitude towards style and fashion in the UK and always wanted to tell everyone back home that’s ok to have your own style even if people stare – and in Germany, they usually do. The more time I spent in the UK, the more I neglected my home city shamefully. I wanted to be more involved in German style and culture and combine my growing up in Berlin with how my living in London has influenced my style and attitude towards fashion. This journal is totally subjective, like any journal is, but I’m hoping it inspires people to spend more time finding out more about individual designers and fashion rather than just running with trends and dressing like the next person. We spend so much money on clothes that I think we should learn more about it. That’s where Panda Me Silly comes in.”
